Our Story
Set on a land whose acquisition started during Zimbabwe’s worst hyperinflation era of 2004 to 2008, the Raregold Agro-Hospitality business was given life by Mrs Sarudzayi Mboweni’s passion for both plant life and welcoming visitors. Of note, it is this passion of welcoming visitors that saw a group of pastors visiting the family project in its early days to request for room to conduct an all-night prayer. Our firm belief is that this event opened doors for new opportunities to enrich what started as a personal hobby by Mrs Mboweni. Reflecting on the journey to date, there is no doubt that the Raregold Agro-Hospitality business has a divine blue-print behind it which has been amazingly unfolding from time to time. There have been awesome testimonies by a number of visitors who came to Raregold and sensed that it is a place where angels descend and ascend.
What We Believe
We believe that Raregold belongs to the creator of all things and that the Raregold shareholders have been given stewardship of His property to showcase His glory. The responsibility of the Raregold business team therefore is to be fruitful, to multiply, to replenish, to subdue and have dominion on all aspects of work so as to provide customers with exception personal experience. Our belief in the God of heaven is reflected in our five values: Faith, Integrity, Innovation, Diligence and Accountability (FIIDA).
